Concrete & Precast Boxes

Concrete and Precast Electrical Installation Boxes

Models for cast-in-situ formwork and factory-cast precast elements. Review positioning, fixing, conduit entries and concrete cover against the element drawing before quotation.

Technical family

Two concrete jobs, one review path

Precast plant and cast-in-situ work use different fixing logic. Tell us which process you are working in before choosing a model.

Precast plant

Boxes are placed into a mould during production of wall and floor elements. Position, fixing to reinforcement or mould face, handling and demoulding are reviewed together.

Cast-in-situ work

Boxes are fixed to formwork or held against a counter bearing. Attachment and conduit clearance relative to the reinforcement are the first questions.

Review checklist

What we check before recommending a box

  • Position and tolerance in the element
  • Fixing method and whether a counter bearing is available
  • Conduit entry size, direction and relation to reinforcement
  • Concrete cover and box orientation
  • Protection during casting
  • Demoulding and handling

From drawing to series supply

A controlled route into production

A trial element gives the plant a real installation result before a series decision is made.

  1. 01 · Drawing review

    Map the element

Element type, wall thickness, reinforcement layout, electrical positions and fixing method.

  2. 02 · Sample casting

    Test the process

Trial quantity for an actual element, not an assumption on paper.

  3. 03 · Confirmation

    Lock the details

Confirm position, fixing, entries and protection against the trial result.

  4. 04 · Series supply

    Plan the line

Match packaging units and call-off schedule to the production plan.

FAQ

Concrete project questions

Answers stay at process level until the exact model and plant setup are confirmed.

Can the boxes be fixed without a counter bearing?

Confirm the model-specific fixing method against the supplied product record and project drawing. Send the mould setup and we will confirm which box suits it.

Where should conduit entries sit relative to reinforcement?

That depends on concrete cover and the reinforcement layout. We work through it at drawing review.

How is the box protected during casting?

Construction protection keeps concrete and slurry out. Standard versus separately ordered protection is confirmed per model.

Can we test on one element first?

Yes. A trial quantity for one element is the normal first step for a precast project.

Next step
