Three of our product families carry independently verified Environmental Product Declarations, covering the material, manufacturing, transport and end-of-life carbon footprint of the boxes behind our range.
01 / What an EPD verifies
A declared, independently checked figure, not a marketing estimate
An Environmental Product Declaration reports the life-cycle environmental impact of a product using a fixed methodology, calculated from real manufacturing and bill of materials data, and checked by an independent verifier before publication.
GWP-fossilCarbon footprint from fossil energy and material sources, per declared unit, for the product stage A1 to A3.
GWP-totalGWP-fossil plus biogenic and land-use-change carbon flows, for the same product stage.
Secondary material outputThe share of end-of-life material streams that can be recovered rather than landfilled.
Third-party verificationEach declaration is checked by an independent verifier acting for EPD Hub before it is published, under ISO 14025.
02 / Verified declarations by family
Three families, three current EPDs
Figures are per declared unit as defined in each EPD: 1 unit for the general flush-mounting box family, 1 kg for the concrete and prefab families. Values are not directly comparable across families or against another manufacturer declaration.

03 / Beyond the fossil number
What the same declarations also confirm
Each EPD covers the full declared life cycle, not only manufacturing, and each result includes a recycling and energy-recovery credit rather than treating end of life as a pure cost.
- The concrete and prefab wall box family was produced in 2024 using a mix of on-site solar generation and grid electricity at the manufacturing site.
- All three declarations report zero REACH substances of very high concern above the 0.1 percent threshold.
- End-of-life recycling and energy recovery are credited back against the total footprint in every declaration, shown as Module D.

04 / How to read these figures responsibly
What this page does not claim
EPDs from different manufacturers, product categories or verification programs are not directly comparable, and none of the figures on this page are presented as a comparison against another supplier.
Self-declared, third-party checkedThe manufacturer prepares the underlying data. An independent verifier acting for EPD Hub checks it against ISO 14025 before publication.
Model-specific, not range-wideEach declaration is calculated for a defined reference model or a representative case within a family. A different model in the same family is not automatically covered.
Time-boundEvery EPD carries a validity window. The dates on this page are current as published; a renewed or updated declaration supersedes the figures shown here.
