Glob-el is the product and brand website operated by Etman Electric (Changzhou) Co., Ltd.

2. Information we receive

Depending on what you submit, we may receive:

• your name and business or company information;
• email address and phone number where supplied;
• country, market and application information where supplied;
• the product or model you are asking about;
• quantity, project and timing information;
• your enquiry message and other information you choose to provide; and
• an uploaded RFQ attachment where you choose to provide one.

Our hosting infrastructure also records basic technical and security information, such as request time, IP address, browser details and requested pages, for normal operation, security and abuse prevention. With your consent, we also collect aggregated website-usage information through Google Analytics 4 — see section 10.

3. Why we use this information

We use enquiry and business-contact information to answer questions, evaluate project requirements, assess product fit, prepare quotations, communicate with customers and prospective customers, and maintain necessary business records.

Technical and security logs are used to operate the website, protect it from abuse, investigate incidents and maintain service reliability. Where consented, analytics information is used to understand how visitors use the website and to improve it.

4. How contact and RFQ enquiries are handled

A form submission is received on the website and persisted in the WordPress backend. Authorised Glob-el or Etman staff can review the record and follow up through the current manual sales handoff workflow.

RFQ attachments are kept in a private backend location and are accessible through the authorised administrative workflow. They are not intended to be a public document library.

5. Legal bases

Depending on the context and the law that applies, processing may be based on taking steps at your request before entering a business relationship or contract, our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating a secure website, or compliance with applicable legal obligations where relevant.

We rely on consent where a specific processing activity legally requires consent, including the analytics cookies described in section 10. Where consent is relied upon, you may withdraw it for the future.

6. People and service providers who may access information

Information may be accessed by authorised Glob-el or Etman staff and, where necessary, by hosting, technical, business or IT service providers supporting the website and its security. Information may also be disclosed to authorities where disclosure is legally required.

Where you consent to analytics cookies, aggregated and pseudonymised website-usage information (not the content of enquiry or RFQ forms) is also processed by Google as described in the Cookie Policy. We do not use analytics data to identify individual enquiries, and we do not use advertising or marketing services on this website.

If personal data is processed or accessed across national borders, we apply safeguards required by applicable data-protection law where such safeguards are required. This includes analytics data processed by Google outside your country when you consent to analytics cookies — see the Cookie Policy for detail.

8. Retention

We retain enquiry and business-contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, manage the relevant business relationship, maintain appropriate business records, and meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations. Data that is no longer required for those purposes is deleted or anonymised where appropriate.

Subject to applicable law and any conditions or exceptions it provides, you may have rights to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and portability where applicable.
